Cort CEC7 Electro Acoustic Guitar:

Cort also offers SFX-shaped nylon stringers. They are arranged within the Classical series and named CEC. There are three patterns, with CEC3 being the lowest, 5 intermediate and CEC7 is the flagship of this sub-series of nylon-stringed guitars. CEC7 appears with a single cut body composed of rosewood back and sides with cedar soundboard on top. Top panels of Classical series patterns are produced solid to enable stronger and more energetic tone. It is recommended with the snap laminated back and sides provide, these designs have the excellent tonal qualities. A top panel is implemented with black binding and classical rosette. The standard shaped bridge is composed of rosewood. Piezo pickup and side-mounted preamp are normal instalments for acoustic-electric models of this series. The mahogany neck is covered with a 19-fret rosewood fingerboard.

Sonically Enhanced UV Finish

The high-tech surface is stable and resistant to scratches while being lightweight to enhance the natural acoustic resonance of the body for a full-bodied and rich character.

1 ¾” (45mm) Nut Width

A slightly narrower nut width that is suitable for both classical and traditional steel-string acoustic performers.

25.3”(643mm) Scale

It is slightly shorter than the fabulous classical guitar scale length, this results in less string tension for the comfort of fingering for not only soloing in the high register but for playing music arpeggios in the low register as well.

Solid Red Cedar Top

Also compared to spruce, cedar is a bit gracious and sympathetic. The midrange is slightly accented with a sweeter top-end, making cedar ideal for professionals who fingerpick a lot and favour a slighter rounder and fuller sound.

Delicious and intense, warm yet punchy with an ideal handful of sweet appearance, rosewood gives a big low-end with plenty of energy and capacity for use in any musical habit.
