Picked from numbers of individual microphones, both microphones of the matched pair show the highest variance of 1 dB at the frequency response and have the same sensitivity.

This capsule is enduringly fixed to the preamp to improve overall stability under mechanical pressure. It comes with a switchable pre-attenuation pad to improve the mic's SPL capability. Plus switchable highpass filter at 75 Hz or 150 Hz prevents low-end distortion, while the C 451B's all-metal body delivers excellent protection from RF interference.
