AKG D7 Reference Dynamic Vocal Microphone is perfectly designed to produce the clear and subtle sound of a condenser capsule with the great resonance of a powerful microphone. It comes with a patented dual-layer Varimotion diaphragm that can vibrate unhindered, hence results in an exceptionally clean and crisp sound. Plus its special laminated material damps high resonance peaks in the frequency response, which in blend with the firm, the super-cardioid polar pattern allows the D7's excellent high gain before feedback. AKG D7 also features a mechano-pneumatic capsule suspension and a combined high-pass filter that effectively eliminates handling noise. Including a precision metal, dust filter gives constant protection for the diaphragm, assuring an extra-long life.
