FMIC (Fender Musical Instruments Corporation) is an American company of Amplifiers and Stringed Instruments. Fender presents Acoustic guitars, Bass amplifiers and public address devices, but is famously identified for its solid-body electric guitars and bass guitars, especially the Stratocaster, Telecaster, Precision Bass, and the Jazz Bass. The company was established in Fullerton, California, by Clarence Leonidas Leo Fender in 1946. Fender headquarters are in Scottsdale, Arizona.

In 1950, Fender offered the first mass-produced solid-body Spanish-style electric guitar, the Telecaster. Following its completion, Fender designed the primary mass-produced electric bass, the Precision Bass. In 1954, Fender revealed the Stratocaster Guitar. Including the Telecaster and Precision Bass having been on the business for some time, Leo Fender was capable to combine input from operating musicians into the Stratocaster's design. Fender's focus product is electric guitars in Duo-Sonic, Jaguar, Jazzmaster, Mustang, Telecaster and Stratocaster models. This is beside bass guitars in Mustang, Jaguar, Jazz and Precision models. Fender also produces acoustic guitars, lap steels guitars, electric violins guitar/ bass amplifiers and the Fender Rhodes electric piano.
