Bass Guitars

The Bass guitar is among the most favorite instruments of professional players. The appearance of the bass guitar or electric bass is similar to that of an electric guitar. The scale length and neck are slightly longer in a bass guitar.

The Bass guitar is played by using the thumb and fingers. Tapping, strumming, plucking, popping, thrumping are the techniques that are used for playing this guitar. Plectrum or a pick is also used for producing an extraordinary sound from the bass guitar.

The bass guitar is connected to the speaker and amplifier for producing loud sound. The models with different number of strings are available in bass guitars, including four, five, six, eight and twelve strings.
