Ampeg SVT-VR is a Classic reissue of an early 1970s Blue-Line SVT head. It has 2 separate channels and 300 watt RMS power at 2 or 4 ohms. It features 3 (12AX7) and 2 (12AU7) preamp tubes, 1 (12AX7) and 2 (12AU7) driver tubes and tone controls like Bass, Mid and Treble. It also consists of with 3-band EQ on channel one and simpler 2-band EQ on channel two.

SVT-VR has a modern feature of Speakon output connector. The preamp stage, power section, and even the rocker switches of the SVT-VR produce the exact signal path, tone, and vibe required. The 300W SVT-VR amplifier is driven by a total of 6 (6550) power tubes for massive power and tone.
