Ampeg PF-800 delivers 800-watt power in an ultra-compact design. It features a largely tonal palette with a selectable mid-tone control with 5 preset mid-tones for all types of music. It consists of an onboard compressor and high/low boots with a 3 band EQ and 5 position mid control. The MOSFET preamp, Balanced direct out and FX loop with dedicated mix control makes it a different one among the Bass Amp Head group.

PF-800 has an effects loop, an onboard limiter, and a -15dB input pad. It weighs only 5.35 kg which can be mounted in a Portaflex series cabinet in true flip-top fashion. It is an 800-watt amplifier head with Class D power. With an Adjustable compressor, headphone output FX loop, mute (footswitch) it completes the specifications list.
