Boss ACS Pro is an amplifier for your acoustic performances on stage or at recordings. Boss ACS Pro also includes a specific mic channel that gives the guitarists a compact, all-in-one amplification. The discrete analog input circuit produces full, clear sound, and phantom power is on tap for utilizing studio-grade condenser microphones. There is also a three-band EQ, phase switch, and anti-feedback notch control, plus top-quality delay/echo and reverb effects. If you are using the ACS Pro for guitar only, this channel can alternately be used to mic up your acoustic. For advanced setups, ACS Pro also works great for blending another amplification source installed in the guitar, such as a second pickup or an internal mic. A different feature of the Boss ACS Pro is its vocal harmony function, which creates live harmonies as you sing and play guitar. Your chord shifts are analyzed in real-time, generating impressive harmonies perfectly tuned according to your song. It features two different harmony types, plus a unison setting that doubles your voice for more impact. The amplifier’s built-in looper allows you to build live backing with guitar, vocals, effects, and more. Boss ACS Pro’s rear panel is well stocked for your adjustment needs. Dual DI/Line outputs are given on XLR connectors, and each consists of a versatile mode switch for outputting both channels mixed, or separate channels direct or post-effects.

Boss ACS Pro has a powerful bi-amp design with peak power that delivers tight, high-definition sound. It has a custom woofer and dome tweeter characteristic. The cabinet construction design reduces unwanted resonances and the tilt-back design provides the maximum projection. Boss ACS Pros’ guitar channel stars a discrete analog input circuit that provides plenty of headroom for the wide dynamic range of the acoustic guitar. The Acoustic Resonance utilizes advanced processing to eliminate the hard, sterile sound produced by the Piezo pickups. This feature improves the character of your pickup and also restores the complex natural resonances that are so often lost when amplifying your acoustic sound. The guitars' channel provides a three-band EQ, a phase switch and notch control. There are two types of chorus effects and a guitar-optimized reverb given on hand to add a crisp touch to your sound. There is also an aux input with level control for playing backing music from your mobile device. The USB jack gives a direct computer connection to a DAW (Digital Audio Workstation), while the Rec/Phones jack provides a standard 1/4-inch stereo connection for quiet rehearsals or recording to portable devices. Many different jacks are also available for controlling the harmony function, looper, effects, and more via optional footswitches.
