The G Series describes a sensible development of the term "vintage". It is modernised yet maintains the familiar characters of the classic double-cutaway plan in an aesthetically pleasing manner. This double-cutaway group combines a wide variety of choices and points to best meet a player's particular needs and conditions.

Cort G Custom is the king of the hill model in the endless and versatile G series. The lower patterns have that classic style, while the top patterns lean more towards the aesthetics and form of the Ibanez RG series. G Custom emphasises a solid, double-cut body made of ash base and quilted maple top.

The top is carved and has Cort`s special contour. Bridge section visits true to the series roots and appears the non-locking tremolo bridge. Pickups in its front are active and are connected in the classic H/S/S design.
