Epiphone G400 Pro EGGPEBNH1 uses a Dual vacuum waxing process that ensures quiet operation free from microphonic hum. The pickup is set in the specific wax vacuuming system before the lid is placed on the unit to ensure that the wax entirely reaches to the center of the pickup and solidifies all components. After the lid is placed on, a second vacuum wax bath is given until the whole unit is completely saturated with wax. Each pickup has its Volume and Tone control with full-size 500K potentiometers coupled with rugged, all-metal, 3-way toggle pickup selector switch for long performances. Each pickup is wired for coil-tapping. By pulling up the pickup’s volume knob, the Humbucker will become a single-coil pickup, allowing players an infinite variety of tones from single-coil to Humbucker.

EGGPEBNH1 features a Mahogany body and neck with a SlimTaper D profile and a 24.75-inch scale length. The Pau Ferro fingerboard has Pearloid Trapezoid inlays, 22 medium jumbo frets, a 12-inch radius, and an adjustable truss rod with a bell cover. Epiphone EGGPEBNH1 features Alnico Classic PRO humbuckers made with Alnico-V magnets, which produces a little higher output, especially in the mids and highs. Epiphone G-400 uses ABS plastic bobbins, 1010 Cold Rolled Steel pole shoes and pole screws, the finest magnet wire available. The Epiphone G-400 Pro features LockTone Bridge and stops bar tailpiece for sustain along with Wilkinson Vintage Classic Machine Heads with an 18:1 tuning ratio.
