Epiphone Les Paul Standard ENSLEBCH1 features a solid mahogany body and a maple top. Epiphone Les Paul Standard has a 14-degree headstock that provides more pressure at the nut for more sustain with less tuning difficulties caused by string-tree gadgets. The hand-set mahogany neck delivers string-to-body resonance while medium-jumbo frets add a smooth and sustained tone. It highlights a pair of Alnico Classic Humbucker pickups that deliver a rich tone. Epiphone uses a dual vacuum waxing process for its Humbuckers that ensures quiet operation free from microphonic hum. Initially, the pickup is set in the specialized wax vacuuming machine before the cover is placed on the unit to ensure that the wax completely reaches to the center of the pickup and solidifies all its parts. A second vacuum wax bath is given after the cover is placed on it for completely saturating the pickup with wax.

Epiphone ENSLEBCH1 uses the highest quality material for the pickups including ABS plastic bobbins, 1010 Cold Rolled Steel pole screws and pole shoes, Alnico magnets and a quality magnet wire. Epiphone Les Paul Standard highlights locking Tune-o-Matic StopBar, fully adjustable bridge and Grover machine heads on the tuners for stability. The StopBar auto-locks the bridge and tailpiece in place for better sustenance. The Epiphone Les Paul Standard uses 1-inch diameter potentiometers and all-metal toggle switches use rugged spring-steel contacts. The output jack features an improved contact shape and heavy-duty spring steel. It has a fingerboard with trapezoid inlays that completes the Les Paul Standard look.
