Epiphone Les Paul Studio ENL1EBCH1 has a Mahogany body with a plain Maple Veneer top and a black Pickguard. The neck has a Mahogany material with SlimTaper D profile and a 24.75-inch scale length, a Pau Ferro fingerboard with Pearloid Dot Inlays, 22 medium jumbo frets, and a 12-inch fingerboard radius. The Clipped Ear headstock has the Epiphone logo in Pearloid and Les Paul Model in gold silk print. The adjustable truss rod cover also has Studio printed in white silk print. The Les Paul Studio ENL1EBCH1 highlights two Alnico Classic Open-Coil (black) humbuckers made with Alnico-V magnets, which gives slightly higher output than old pickups and also has improved mids and highs. Each pickup has a Volume and Tone control with Black Speed knobs plus an all-metal 3-way pickup selector switch.

Epiphone ENL1EBCH1 Alnico Classic uses a dual vacuum waxing procedure that ensures quiet operation free from microphonic hum. The pickup is kept in a particular wax vacuuming machine before the cover is set on the unit to ensure that the wax completely enters the core of the pickup and solidifies all its components. After the cover is placed on, the pickup is given a second vacuum wax bath until the whole unit gets entirely saturated. Les Paul Studio Series Guitar uses quality components for the pickups which includes Alnico magnets, ABS plastic bobbins, 1010 Cold Rolled Steel pole shoes and pole screws, and premium magnet wire. The Les Paul Studio comes with LockTone Bridge and stops bar tailpiece combination for greater sustain and easy intonation along with Grover machine heads with an 18:1 turning ratio and Non-Rotating 1/4 inch output jack.
