Epiphone Les Paul Studio ENL1WCCH1 Alnico Classic uses a dual vacuum waxing procedure that ensures quiet operation free from microphonic hum. The pickup is set in a dedicated wax vacuuming system before the cover is set on the unit to assure that the wax totally seeps to the core of the pickup and hardens all its elements. After the cover is placed on, the pickup is given a second vacuum wax bath until the whole unit gets entirely saturated. Epiphone ENL1WCCH1 consists of quality parts for the pickups including ABS plastic bobbins, 1010 Cold Rolled Steel pole shoes and pole screws, Alnico magnets and the premium magnet wire. The Clipped Ear headstock has the Epiphone logo in Pearloid and Les Paul Model in gold silk print.

ENL1WCCH1 has a Mahogany body with a plain Maple Veneer top and a black Pickguard. It has a SlimTaper D profile, Mahogany neck with a 24.75-inch scale length, a Pau Ferro fingerboard with Pearloid Dot Inlays, 22 medium jumbo frets, and a 12-inch fingerboard radius. The ENL1WCCH1 comes with LockTone Bridge and stop bar tailpiece combination for greater sustain and easy intonation along with Grover machine heads with an 18:1 turning ratio and Non-Rotating 1/4 inch output jack. Epiphone ENL1WCCH1 consists of 2x Alnico Classic Open-Coil (black) humbuckers made with Alnico-V magnets, which provides a little higher output than old pickups and has also improved mids and highs. Each pickup has a Volume and Tone control with Black Speed knobs plus an all-metal 3-way pickup selector switch.
