Epiphone SG Special features a dashing Double-cutaway design that is the ultimate design for chording and giving players access to all 22 frets. The bolt-on Okoume neck has a classic SlimTaper D profile neck and a standard 24.75-inch scale. Epiphone SG features a set of hot, open-coil, noise-free Humbucker pickups, especially for the bridge position (700T) and neck position (650R) to give a rock tone. The Rosewood fingerboard with dot inlay is paired with Okoume neck. It has a Cherry gloss finish on the mahogany body.

SG Special highlights the LockTone Tune-o-Matic bridge and stops bar tailpiece for increased sustain and easy string changing. Each of the master volume and master tones controls highlights full-size 500K potentiometers along with sturdy all-metal 3-way toggle pickup selector switch for long-lasting performance. SG Special features solid nickel hardware. Epiphone SG has a Tone/Killpot control that works like a regular tone control. This double-cutaway design guitar has 6 strings and a 2-layer black/white Pickguard.
