Cort A5-Plus-SCMS-OPN 5 String Artisan Series Electric Bass Guitar is perfectly designed with advanced modern bass ideas such as a single-cutaway for improved body-neck balance. The single-cutaway designed offers easy access to the high frets while the multi-scale creates more tension for the low strings, appearing in a tighter and more concentrated lower register sounds. And neck-thru-body construction for providing you more sustain and punchy tone. Therefore, strings vibrate across the body and neck linearly and coherently, increasing the tightness of the low-end with bright mids and singing highs.

Features a Bartolini Mk-1 pickups producing excellent sound quality and value. This MK-1 gives plenty of warm and punchy mids along with clear and bright highs for an extremely balanced sound. With famous Bartolini MK-1 EQ presents a strong yet transparent boost along with its trademark crunchy high-end. This pickup gives the natural liveliness of the bass through a flexible 3-band equalizer for a class of purposes ranging from studio recording to big concert halls. It further gives a switchable active/passive mode for an organic traditional passive sound or an effective modern active sound.

Each string of guitar comes with a dedicated hardtail bridge, considerably increasing string separation and decreasing crosstalk for greatly intensified articulation and definition. Its fingerboard is constructed from Panga Panga hardwood has properties of Wenge and presents a coherent and tight sound that mates very strong with the instrument’s multi-laminate neck-thru-body construction. It outfitted with Hipshot Ultralite Tuners that is constructed of cast zinc with aluminum strings posts and mounting nuts, appearing in 30% weight decrease over other regular tuners and which occurs in increased balance and tuning accuracy.
