Cort A5-Plus-SCMS-OPTG 5 String Artisan Series Electric Bass Guitar is introduced with a single-cutaway designed that offers easy access to the high frets while the multi-scale creates more tension for the low strings, appearing in a tighter and more concentrated lower register sounds. And neck-thru-body construction for providing you more sustain and punchy tone. Therefore, strings vibrate across the body and neck linearly and coherently, increasing the tightness of the low-end with bright mids and singing highs.

Each string of guitar comes with a dedicated hardtail bridge, considerably increasing string separation and decreasing crosstalk for greatly intensified articulation and definition. Its fingerboard is constructed from Panga Panga hardwood has properties of Wenge and presents a coherent and tight sound that mates very strong with the instrument’s multi-laminate neck-thru-body construction. It is outfitted with Hipshot Ultralite Tuners that is constructed of cast zinc with aluminum string posts and mounting nuts, appearing in 30% weight decrease over other regular tuners and which occurs in increased balance and tuning accuracy.

Standard body tonewood Swamp Ash is mated with stunning Spalted Maple top to strike an excellent balance between the modern and the traditional both in looks and sound. The brightness and durability of Maple are perfectly balanced with the soft midrange of PangaPanga, appearing in superb playability, tonal and feel definition.
