Ibanez RG7421-BK Electric Guitar:

The Ibanez RG7421-BK is a seven string RG series solid body electric guitar pattern offered by Ibanez in 2013. It is actually a seven-string version of the RG421. It is manufactured in Indonesia.

A related model with a tremolo bridge is the RG7420. A version with an unusual poplar burl top, the RG7421PB, was also submitted.

A guitar with the same model number was earlier prepared between 2000 and 2003.

The RG7421 has a basswood (later mahogany) body bolted to a maple Wizard II-7 neck including a 24-fret rosewood (later jatoba) fingerboard by white dot position tags. Components comprise a fixed bridge and double Ibanez humbucker pickups.

For 2015 mahogany was exchanged for basswood as the body material. For 2018 jatoba followed rosewood for the fretboard.
