Mapex BPMH460LNW Black Panther Design14 inch Heartbreaker Snare Drum  Snare is well constructed of an all-mahogany shell and reinforcement rings which blend historic snare drum tone with modern snare design. It arrives with combines the dark, rustic and throaty sounds of rock classics, however easily fits with today's more organic alternative styles. Also with 8-ply 8mm Mahogany w/4-ply 4mm Mahogany Reinforcement Rings with dual air vents and Natural Satin SAS Finish. And the Brushed Black Chrome Hardware for enhancing the performance.

The Mahogany shell and edge reinforcement rings of the Heartbreaker snare provide important boosts in 150-400 Hz frequency range, creating a big and full sound that takes up a lot of sonic space. SONIClear Bearing Edge is standard on all Black Panther Design Lab Shells and provides the drumhead to sit flatter and make a better connection with the shell. This result is a more precise fundamental pitch, smooth and consistent tuning, and a significantly increased tuning range.
