Yamaha PSR-I400 Portable Keyboard is introducing with a comprehensive set of onboard Indian instruments (Voices) and an auto harmony function (Styles) that draws from a wide spectrum of Indian music styles, it is the ultimate compact keyboard for learning Indian music. It also arrives with several teaching functions including a built-in Mridangam or Tanpura and Tabla function called Riyaz, which makes learning to play traditional Indian Raga or songs scales a quick and pleasant process.

Performing the PSR-I400 can be a fairly enjoyable family affair. The Keyboard provides several learning features that make growing keyboard skills a faster, more delightful process. The Keyboard will operate either from an optional battery or  AC adaptor.

To prevent undesirable or unnecessary power loss, this keyboard features an Auto Power Off function that automatically redirects the power off if the instrument is not performed for a specified period. In addition to the organ, piano, and additional conventional keyboard instruments, this keyboard has a huge range of Voices that includes trumpet, guitar, strings, bass, sax, drums and percussion, and yet sound effects giving you a broad variety of musical sounds. Also equipped with a built-in metronome (a tool that keeps an exact tempo), suitable for practicing. Even in Main Voice, you can also add harmony notes. Although switching on the Harmony will pick a Harmony Type fit for the current Main Voice, you can choose a different Harmony Type.

Additionally, the Arpeggio function allows you to create arpeggios (broken chords) by easily pressing the notes of the chord. You could perform the notes of a triad the root, third, and fifth to trigger engaging phrases. This trait can be utilized for music production as well as performance. The duo Live Control Controls established in the lower-left area of the board can be used to add modifications to the sound being played, converting the sound in a variety of musical ways.
