Tama PTS146 Starphonic Steel Snare Drum is perfectly designed to produce more sensitive and crisp sound, Tama redesigned snappy snare, using new material and modified the shape of the plate and the wire's coil winding pattern. As a result of these upgrades, the new Super Sensitive Hi-Carbon Snappy Snare suits more precisely to the snare side head, providing the best brighter, sensitivity, and crisper sound. By relaxing the tension rod, you can turn the claw hooks backward and away from the Grooved Hoop. Starphonic strainer utilizes a Linear-Drive system, which Tama designed to offer the best control of the lever adjustment arm and more well-defined control of the strainer's deployment motion. It comes with claw hooks that have a rubber block interior to keep the tension bolts from loosening during the performance. The Detachable Strainer Butt provides you to modify your snare side head but prevents the snare wire tension in its original state.
